It may be peak grylliade or at least peak internet, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out why Alton Brown wouldn't pay for a meal or even think twice about the head of a salmon.

Filed to ESPN: Andrew Luck has informed the Colts he is retiring from the NFL, per source. There will be a press conference Sunday to make it official, but Luck is mentally worn down, and now checking out.

The A.B. saga is surreal (at one point this weekend a news page showed like 3 contradictory headlines about him) enough, but I'm left feeling sorry for whoever got cut to make room for him on the Pats roster. Imagine you make the final cut! For a perennial super bowl contender! Then this toxic clown show is getting a third chance and you're out? On a team that doesn't really need a receiver? Life is definitely not fair.

But here's to hoping he somehow sucks the Patriots into his black hole of chaos.

The Browns banned a guy for dumping beer on Tennessee players when they were celebrating at the edge of the stands. Typically for the Browns, they banned the wrong guy, specifically a guy who says he hasn't been to a Browns game since 2010, and was DJing a wedding at the time.

I haven't really liked the Saints since the Gregg Williams bounty scandal, and thought that Sean Payton should have been run out of the league permanently (they didn't even ban Williams from the league for a meaningful amount of time, tho). But watching this game, I just like them less and less with every snap, especially Taysom Hill. Maybe if he played for another team, he'd be fine, but combo of him + Saints is just *barf*.

And that's after 1st and goal earlier in the game where they ended up losing 2 yards and getting a field goal.

I was amazed that Kirk Cousins actually was able make some plays to win a game. That's usually the opposite of what he does.

Those games were ... pretty bad? Saints offence was an abomination. I like gadgets as much of the next guy but if you have Drew Brees, Michael Thomas, Alvin Kamara, and Jared Cook, how does your offence do literally nothing if not for 3 gadget plays.

I wasn't convinced it should have been called, bad as it looked. Looks bad in slo-mo started right when they are hitting helmets but I want to see a complete clip because I remember yesterday it looking to me like simply a consequence of bodies flying out of control at high speed.

I have to admit though while I traditionally have always disliked the Eagles, Grandpa Quarterback and Sproles Jr. endeared them to me for one game.
