This is a deeply cursèd post because I can already tell there is a part of my brain that will remind me of this every time I see the word; at first it will be humorous but at some point I'll realize I can't remember which is the correct pronunciation and which is the shitpost

During a meeting the other day, I mentioned a component that we have, called an "interposer". Over the course of a one-hour meeting and a followup email, this somehow morphed in the mind of the project manager into "inter-poster" and then "inter-post".
