It's a little overheated to say that facebook is 'silencing' a guy who can just go to a competitor like Parler, but since my sarcasm detector didn't just ping, I'm going to say that nothing there is all that antidemocratic nor even explicitly judgemental.

Facebook is 100% within its rights, and clearly justified in their actions, but even I looked at that and said, "Oh shit, they just banned a sitting president from a major communication tool. That's important, and I'm not sure how this is going to play out." That's not that different from 'this will be remembered as a turning point in the battle for control over digital speech.'
