For the record

Edward Snowden is a treasonous bastard and an enemy of the United States of America.

Mine's broken too. Maybe it's that bug I hear's been going around.

It's a little overheated to say that facebook is 'silencing' a guy who can just go to a competitor like Parler, but since my sarcasm detector didn't just ping, I'm going to say that nothing there is all that antidemocratic nor even explicitly judgemental.

Facebook is 100% within its rights, and clearly justified in their actions, but even I looked at that and said, "Oh shit, they just banned a sitting president from a major communication tool. That's important, and I'm not sure how this is going to play out." That's not that different from 'this will be remembered as a turning point in the battle for control over digital speech.'

For well over thirty years, I’ve thought the Bolsheviks morally wrong for what they did to the Romanov family in the end.

I no longer think that.

I noticed that too. Might be that the audio's a half-second out of sync with the video.

It's the phase transition during the crossover from the alternate reality.

That's certainly part of it, but the creepy botoxed- up lack of facial movement is a big part of it too. It's like watching Clutch Cargo address the nation.

Given the bipartisan hostility to section 230 and the "big tech", all the way back to people blaming Facebook for Trump's election, good luck on coping with all these "traitors" around you, Kolohe.

That's what I figured too. If I get really bored today I might play around with it and see if it will sync up.
