The Bumper Sticker Thread
Like the Twitter thread but for things that people actually see.

Re: The Bumper Sticker Thread
Saw a way-too-many-bumperstickers car today with one that said "Ron Paul Was Right". It was right next to the Infowars sticker, so it's an open question what he was right about.

MD is the only state where people use bumper stickers to tell you what kind of food they eat. Not eat at a specific restaurant but a crab decorated with that epilepsy test they call a flag.

Re: The Bumper Sticker Thread
There's a car at the Park n Ride with a "Women for Trump" sticker that I can't find an image of online. It features a pink-outlined silhouette of a woman with her hips cocked and arms akimbo. If I look closer I'm sure I'll see the outline of a third hand over her crotch.

Re: The Bumper Sticker Thread
It definitely started out that way, and despite media heavyweights like the washington Examiner, Breitbart, and RT assuring us lol j/k u mad bro, it is increasingly displayed by certain classes of people and specific enough contexts that it is no longer clear that it's just a joke.
Far as I'm concerned, if you're spending time and money to display every day on your vehicle a joke to troll the libs into thinking you're a white supremacist, you might actually be a white supremacist.

Yeah I don't know anymore. When I was in the Army, many, many, moons ago it was a running joke. You would make that sign and try to get people to look down at it. When they did they got hit in the shoulder. Or something like that. The rules were always a little fuzzy and my memory is fairly hazy on it as well. I tried to figure out what any of it meant and I'd usually just get belligerent looks because I was ruining all the fun.
Re: The Bumper Sticker Thread
I'm sure it's all fluid. It starts out as basically nothing, then it becomes a media thing, then counter culture does it for lulz then real asses do it for real knowing they have cover and luls for them too. Rinse repeat.

The circle game excuse works when you're in a position to punch the person who looks. Not so much in a photo.Painboy wrote: ↑23 Feb 2020, 21:04 Yeah I don't know anymore. Saw a yard sign today with a blue donkey on it reading "It All Matters". Not sure what that's supposed to mean.
