Team Thanos if the 50% who go bye-bye are Trump supporters.
Trump supporters are less than 50% of Americans.
It's close enough to get the guy elected once, and almost certainly again.

The difference between Trump support and 50% is enough that we'd call it a landslide if it were over 50%. And more to the point, that difference would be innocent people.

Also, Thanos is a chump.

I think you're taking me much more seriously than you ought to on the Thanos thing. I don't want them to die. I migh be ok with it if they chose to form their own country somewhere....well, far from here. Greenland, maybe. I will say, though, that anecdata here in my admittedly red part of the world suggests that something well over half of people support Trump. I'm sure the situation is reversed in more sophisticated locales. However the people in the troglodytic hinterlands and the overeducted and elitist coasts share the conviction that they, and people like them, make up more of America than they actually do.

And, of course, that they are the Real America (TM).

I'm not taking you very seriously at all.

ETA: I mean, do you really think I'm fine with killing all the Trump voters and only worried about the non-supporters in that 50%?

Even if Thanos snapped away everyone who voted for Trump, we'd still have to deal with the House and Senate Republicans.

They must have known that he's crazy.

I suspect that many of them did vote for him nonetheless, but all of them? I have to think that a few were unable to make themselves check the box for him. They probably didn't vote for Clinton or a third party, but I think a few secretly left the box blank.

If Thanos had any decency, he'd snap all 535.

Well, it looks like a second go-around on Impeachment, if only to lock the gate so he can't come back.

I don't think he will be convicted this time around. I doubt the Blues will be able to find 17 Reds in the Senate to go along. Especially if McConnell as Senate Minority Leader is able to spin it out for a few months.

Or McConnell might give us our 1-in-14,000,605.
