Excuse YOU, I attend an Episcopal church in an upper-class neighborhood. We don't use WAFERS. We use a locally-baked loaf of gluten-free bread.

(Yes, really, though actually it started mostly because we had a priest with such a severe wheat allergy she couldn't even touch the wafers to distribute them.)
