I abjectly confess that my entire knowledge of Dr. John is that he popped up once on an episode of Top Chef New Orleans, and that he sings the Curious George theme song.

(Side note, does anybody else have trouble finding this thread in the forums because it doesn't seem like it should be in "The Joys of Life"? :D )

He almost died on a few occasions, but he got expensive rescues each time.

Oddly enough I was reading through a cooking blog a few days ago and learned that he started an olive oil based business, Olivio when I saw the lid of a margarine tub "Lee Iacocca's Olivio".
