Congratulations! Don't forget to bring up all the super-important libertarian themes: ferrets' rights, privatizing the sidewalks, drinking colloidal silver as a means of protecting your health and Sticking It to Big Pharma....

We'll see. I wouldn't be surprised if he stands me up. He gave me his skype username but hasn't added me as a contact yet. We're scheduled to talk in about an hour and a half. I've been looking over the first few pages of the Private Money thread (holy shit everybody not me is so stupid!), and dug out my copy of Radicals for Capitalism in preparation. I'll see if I can talk him into getting a Grylliade account.

And it's done. We spoke for nearly an hour and a half. I spent the first several minutes embarrassing myself telling him what a fanboy I am because of RfC. I stated off telling him how I got into the Libertarian Party and was upset about the national debt and then segued into BitCoin. He said he's early in his research and may make an article or if he gets enough stuff may make a book.

He was a total pussy with the skype call not turning his camera on because he didn't feel sufficiently groomed.

In Search of the Elusive Bitcoin Billionaire
Bitcoin is booming. Libertarians were there first. So where are all the cryptocurrency tycoons?
A Reason reader named Warren, who had been an early bitcoin advocate at a message board called Grylliade full of fellow libertarians, found himself arguing that there was something to this crazy crypto stuff against nearly everyone else on the site.

Like being kidnapped for a Bitcoin ransom! Speaking of which, don't leave the house anytime soon. I'm on my way over with some zip ties and a blowtorch, and I don't want to have to wait around for you to get home. ;)

Ah. Well, probably because we weren't linked. Our days of being name-checked for concern trolling Reason during webathons appear to be over.

Not a Bitcoin Billionaire. I certainly could have done much better, but I could easily have done worse.
Still, becoming a hundredthousandaire is probably the best thing that's ever happened to me.
And who knows, I may get there yet fools.
