There's no way that Waters and Mason played the rhythm section on The Wall. Gilmour is probably the only one who's on the album. Even the trademark Waters bassline is doubtful.

The bassline at the start of Comfortably Numb is way too warm and smooth to be Waters.
I can get into this kind of conspiracy. Who do you played most of the bass parts? Gilmour? Unknown studio ace?
Are there any credits for the session guys? Like I know some of the bass parts on Money for Nothing (the album not necessarily the song) were Tony Levin.

I would say either Gilmour or random studio musicians. Lee Ritenour, Jeff Pocaro, and his Dad were officially credited on it already.

The version of Money that was on their greatest hits album (and probably played on the radio), was completely played, drums and all, by Gilmour.

I was going to comment that there was no way Waters played the bass on "Hey You," but wiki specifically says the bass on that one is fretless bass work by Gilmour. And the interview it is taken from is one where Gilmour claims he played at least half the bass work on the albums overall.

This track was playing in a restaurant yesterday...

(Murray Head, "She Was Perfection")

...and a young woman working there said to a coworker, "This song reminds me of music from Final Fantasy."

I can't disagree, because I haven't actually played the last...twelve or so versions of the game.

This may be the first (post-hardcore?) song I've heard about working in a bio lab.

I don't really know who Billie Eilish is nor have I heard any of her songs to my knowledge, but I have decided to hate her forever because she won Best New Artist at the VMAs instead of Lizzo. (Obviously I also hate the VMAs people too.)
