You Learn Something New Every Day
Re: You Learn Something New Every Day
I understand that it's a thing. I don't think pb is a great implementation in most cases. Give me textural contrast like choco covered nuts.

QfmftJasonL wrote:Dessert pb is overrated by the masses. PBJ sure. PB on a spoon i'm down. PB icecream, candy, cookies etc? Meh. What other flavors do we have. Can't be in the top 10 of common cookie types.
Although I think in my case it is a matter of supertasting pb. If there’s peanut butter within nose shot of me, eating chocolate or vanilla will create a combined taste in my mouth that is a lot like shit smells. True of all peanuts, really. I made no bake cookies while the snack grunt was in town on Xmas leave. Tried to eat a puff pastry with a vanilla filling and it was ruined. Just from being in the kitchen with cookies that contained pb.

LOL about the Skittles thing.
A friend of mine was so excited that they were bringing back the lime-flavored green ones, that he went and ordered three or four dozen bags. But he misread the size/weight and ended up with 42 lbs. of 'em.

The article? Sure. But ZZ Top is properly described as being born out the ashes of Moving Sidewalks.Warren wrote: ↑27 Jan 2018, 18:48It's a Frank and Dusty story.Solitudinarian wrote: ↑27 Jan 2018, 18:39I suspect Billy Gibbons, Dan Mitchell, and Lanier Grieg might take issue with your statement.Warren wrote: ↑27 Jan 2018, 17:09ZZ Top was born out of the ashes of one of two Zombies impersonator bands touring the United States two years after the original Zombies broke up.
