MARCH MADNESS

I remember we had a Yahoo Group for our brackets, but I can't find last year's thread. Should I just start a new group?

Ahh sweet. Thanks Ellie

EDIT
I watched more basketball this year than most (gotta earn that unemployment check somehow), but dang if I haven't seen a single game played by over half the field.

Yeah, My alma mater is playing on Thursday afternoon about a half-mile from my office. Need to decide if I want to go or not.

I'm pretty sure you're about 24 months too late to make that decision.

There are still tickets available, but HOLY CRAP they're expensive. So I'm not 24 months late in ordering the tickets, but I'm definitely late in budgeting for it.

Some of the Division 2 women's games are actually on my campus. I can get in free.

Needless to say, though, I'll be in my office grading.

I'm going to get in the Studebaker and head on over to the malt shop to watch the NIT, not this Johnny-come-lately tournament.

I believe this "March Madness" thing is something to do with college basketball (but I wouldn't even bet on that being true.)

I don't know what it is.

I don't want to know what it is.

I don't even know why anyone would care what it is.

However, if it is what cranks you, turn the handle. I'll be in my bunk.

In an earlier incarnation I actually enjoyed playing basketball and I went to games when my daughter played varsity basketball in high school. But I cannot bear the thought of watching it now, let alone follow the fortunes of teams from colleges that I have absolutely no connection to.

Be sure to have a hamburger sandwich and some french-fried potatoes while you are there!

And a malted. Mmm sounds tasty. Let me practice my underhand free throws, and I'll join you.

I am in on the madness. And I see that GinSlinger made it in again this year.

Though we seemed to have lost a couple. I was hoping for more participants.

Okay, I'm in, and I've filled up my bracket. I used a cunning technique that cannot fail: "Well, I think I've heard this name in association with some sort of sport once... I think. So I'll pick them to win."
