I think it's pretty indicative of how far baseball has fallen in stature that Fox has stuck a game 6 which could send the Cubs to the World Series on FS1, while they're showing Oklahoma vs Texas Tech, a pretty ordinary (and not very good) Big 12 game, on Fox.

Sports are so much better at 60fps.

This game is the perfect metaphor for 2016. It's full of bad decisions and is never going to end.

Coincidentally now the Indians are the team with the longest championship drought.

Once again, 60fps sports are a revelation.

It depends if you count the Rangers time as the Senators, then it's 70 years.

How long has 1080p at 60 fps been a thing? My TV has been able to do it, but I'm not sure on the source side how long that's been done.

I grew up in the Chicago suburbs and was a boyhood fan of the Cubs.
It's been decades since I watched baseball, and now I feel like I missed out on something. Still, even if I had known back in 1977, it wouldn't have been worth sitting through the past forty years.

That was basically my question. I didn't think we were getting 60 fps and I couldn't figure how how db was.

The sports editor of the CO news radio station delivered an editorial this morning to the tune of "I know we're all waiting for the other shoe to drop, but it's okay to enjoy the Rockies success for the time being."

I find myself actually looking forward to player's weekend. I would probably be moreso if the Rockies nicknames weren't so lame.

Still I would be lying if I said I weren't tempted to buy a Chuck Nazty jersey.

I read that as 'team fight' and thought that they'd cleared the dugout and the wife came out of the stands, too. I was confused when it was talking about an airplane.

Needless to say I was disappointed.

I checked the game last night and saw LA was up 3-0 in the second and Kershaw was going to be pitching. I was certainly surprised this morning.
