Bernie is bad, but even in his most fevered dreams I doubt he’d ruin the economy as much as this guy.

Clearly the text is outdated, and Ralph has adjusted to the reality that while he only exists while people are thinking of him, he definitionally can't experience or perceive the times when he doesn't exist.

Pretty sure that pr0n increases the chance of stroke. At least self-administerd.

Omg it’s so good you guys
If we could bottle up all the shame and grief men have expressed in their evangelical men’s groups and their Catholic confessionals about their own unremitting battles against pornography, and we could somehow direct it at the legions of despicable perverts who support pornography, I am convinced we could pass a constitutional amendment and build the Great Firewall against pornography before Trump’s second term starts.

Without having read it I will just say that once again the libertarians have managed to undermine western civilization without wielding any actual political power.

The whole site AmericanMind.org site is kind of a hoot, if you like idiocy.

I mean, someone put a lot of work into designing the site to look very nice and professional, as if it were some kind of think tank's outlet. But every single sentence is just dumb and crude, as if all the copy and headlines were written by the cute-but-clueless preacher's daughter from back in my high school speech and debate team. The one who write a letter to the school paper about how harassing gay people was necessary to save their souls...

(And then they use 4chan memes as banner images. WTF.)

It is! It really is.
People know their porn habit isn’t just bad for them—it’s wrong. When so many of us derive our greatest physical satisfaction from something we know is debasing us, more than our health is at stake. Our humanity is.
And there's more. So much more. And it keeps getting better.
I can't remember the last time I sustained a laugh that long.

Having spent my early childhood in the repressive 50s, I'd point out that a frisson of irrational guilt adds to the pleasure of pornography. What these men need to do is stop going to their religious groups and blabbing about it as though that was a bad thing.

Assuming for the sake of argument that people do feel guilt and shame about consuming pornography (certainly not my experience), what if we tried living in a society free of religions whose stock and trade are guilt and shame, and where people have a healthy relationship with sexuality and the human body? If that doesn't solve the problem we can always save banning pr0n for plan B.

FWIW, I'm not now nor have I ever been much of a consumer of porno. What I do think, however, is that the best feature of porno is indulging in whatever fantasies one would never attempt or even want to attempt in real life. Which maybe makes me an occasional virtual pervert, but that's as far as I'll cop to.

I think all adults eventually realize that a little frisson does increase the pleasure. Too much lube and you fall right out of bed.
