I believe it, but it's cloning that irritates me. How is cloning wrong? I can't even.

One-third of Americans don't drink at all, so I'm not surprised. 60% average fewer than a drink a week.

I remember reading an analysis that that graph is not quite accurate, so it's probably only like 40-50% who average less than a drink a week.

(The graph maker did some imputation from two incommensurable sets of statistics--something like drawing the low end of the table from self-report, and attributing all of the remaining alcohol purchased to the very top. Whereas under-reporting happens up and down the chain.

I was actually going to say I'm in the under a drink a week category, and then I thought about it and that's definitely wrong. My modal week has zero drinks, but this past week probably covered like three months for me.)

Depending on how often I go to karaoke (on Fridays) I'm between 5, 6, and 7. I only have one or two drinks even then because I'm always the driver.

zomg there is the dumbest imaginable "#CVSDeniesCare" and "#boycottCVS" trend going on right now (actual story: CVS/Caremark the insurer changed rates it said it would pay to Pill Club for BC, so Pill Club is no longer going to work with them; imagined story: CVS is denying women birth control in stores and it's because they love Trump) and I'm just like ughhhhhhh why are people so dumb, also why am I the only one who has been boycotting CVS for years because they dropped tobacco products in a move of supreme bitchiness

The top decile is 75 drinks per week? Holy shit. I know some hard, hard drinkers, and I think only one would consistently hit that number.

I'm an 8.5 right now. Mainly due to the fact that I suddenly have free time what with class being done. I suspect I'll be back in solid 7 territory next week when I get to work for free. Sorry. I mean learn by working. For free. While also paying full tuition to my school. Not that I'm bitter or anything.
