If I told you about my childhood bathroom situation, Nicole would actually die, and Warren's monocle would shatter and drive shards of glass into nearby players and monsters, dealing 3d6 damage.

For pretty much all of my remembered childhood I've lived in a home with at least two bathrooms -- a "public" bathroom off the hallway leading to the bedrooms, and a larger and nicer "private" bathroom off my parents' room/master bedroom. The hallway bathroom had a tub/shower combo, while my parents' "private" bathroom had a larger but tubless walk-in shower.

However, regarding things like middle of the night bathroom visits, the issue of being properly covered up before leaving one's bedroom never arose because we always wore pajamas or nightgowns to bed anyway.

So a friend has identified Marianne Williamson as this year's Ben Carson

Tweet from Marianne Williamson: The power of your mind is greater than the power of nuclear radiation. Visualize angels dispersing it into nothingness.

[reply tweet that's just a screenshot of science guy doing the visual aid scene from Chernobyl]

Holy shit you guys. I really can visualized angels dispersing her mind into nothingness.

It took me too long to realize this was CGd instead of just good costumes/makeup.

The idea that masturbation weakens men has gotten big on the dipshit right, particularly the trumpkin/neo-nazi end. See "No Nut November".

Ross Douthat explaining anything--anything at all--related to masturbation is very low on the list of things that I need.

Come to think of it, it might even be WORSE when I do it -- every month I don't get knocked up with a white baby is a month I commit "white genocide" (which IMO ought to be the new euphemism for menstruation: "I'd love to go dancing, but I'd better stay home because I have bad cramps from committing white genocide").

I’m sure this is the more traditional style “if men masturbate they’ll just treat women like masturbation aids and won’t be ‘open to life’ from every sexual encounter.”

There's lots of variations and fluff around the idea and no real way to determine who all he's trying to signal to.
