They are muted when retweeted. You will just see "the quoted tweet is unavailable," at least on Android.

Yeah, I don't see the people I've blocked. All 7 of them...

I'm guessing no. Vanessa was born in USVI and Peter in Beirut. Peter lived in Beirut until 15, and they're both of similar age as near as I can tell.

Only if anyone besides us and Europeans normally used "liberal" that way. To the bulk of the audience, that won't even make sense. I'd use Blues and Reds more often if it wouldn't get me sanctioned or booted from some forums.

(Though among Blues, I've been watching with fascination the last year as "liberal" shifted from "self-identification of snooty moderate leftists who want to separate themselves from anything That Centrist Obama does wrong" to a dismissive term vaguely equivalent something like "Hillary Clinton's centrist zombie apologists".)

Yeah, remember when "liberal" meant "somebody who probably liked Dukakis and the Dirty Hippies of Boomer lore"? Now for certain Blues (and those to the left of them) "liberal" means "Somebody who'd gladly punch a hippie if Hillary Clinton asked them to."
