It’s insufficient not to be an endorsement, you have to make a direct critique? So there’s only one acceptable plot?
No. There are no acceptable plots. Everything is problematic.

I don't know. I think at least as many imbalances originate from a dearth of demand.

It's not an economic treatise, nor is it an argument. It's a formulation of ethical precepts using the language of economics.

On the web interface, when you make a thread of tweets, it shows all your own replies (continuation of the thread) before anyone else's replies. E.g., if someone makes a tweet thread of their 100 favorite kittens, and I click on #23, I have to scroll past the other 77 before I can see anyone else's replies to #23. Is there any way around this, or do I really have to scroll through the whole giant thread every time?

(this post brought to you by a thread I just discovered of bonkers moments from Glee, and I am so blown away that this show was ever really on the air)

I get the other way around. If I click on a specific tweet in a thread, I get the replies to that one, then the rest of the thread.

*does not raise hand*

That was a hoot, though. Beyond the hilarious use of "we", the unwillingness to actually use the naughty expression, and the considering a correct use of a word meaning inability to see to be ableism? The best part had to be supporters/enablers huffing things like "we appreciate your input, but this is the result of a discussion and your disagreeing does not end the discussion" to disabled people who simply stated their disagreement.

OK, the horrible and unintuitive replacement term "dead angle" (which doesn't make sense in many contexts that "blind spot" does) is a winner, too.

It was pretty clear that she was talking about a blind spot, but not because of the new name they're advocating. The name is in fact dumb.

How are you guys getting it, “the” blind spot isn’t even in your periphery! And blind spots generally could be anywhere!

ETA I just want to note for the record that I am 100% sober rn (and this is one reason why that’s pointless)

Why not keep spot. Call it a dead spot.

But it doesn’t strike me as terribly a lost but I’m captain privilege so whatever I’ll use whatever gets my point across.

Blind people are the only people who don't have blind spots, so really who's the privileged ones here?

They can turn a blind eye to the entire controversy.

A linguistic descriptivist would say that the word "pronoun" now refers only to third-person pronouns.

A linguistic prescriptivist would not say anything because they'd be too busy searching for a bridge to jump off.

Only to third-person pro-anythings, since people call “his” and “their” pronouns now as well.
