Cosign. I've been puked on while driving and inside of a suit as well. The situation is quite exorcist.

When my friends' twin girls were still little, when I stayed with them ( a few times a year for about 4 days) I would make it clear i was happy to watch them/babysit but that I had no experience in changing any diapers and wasn't interested in learning. So when they were finally just out of diapers the first time I was finally babysitting I get called to the bathroom- to help them. Wipe. Their bottoms. Good grief, unclear on the concept.

Snowflake. Changing diapers is the easiest part of fatherhood. Simple, easily identifiable problem, with a quick solution.
Yeah, seeing what friends are dealing with, I would still take poop duty over trying to help a 9 year old deal with her friend being mean to her.

Does Twitter have ANYTHING to talk about besides Roseanne's show being canceled? Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with the decision, but seriously, is there ANYTHING ELSE for Twitter to talk about?

OK, so he doesn't cross-dress anymore.

I've got a small tank, so your average fillup for me if I pay retail is around $25-30. Anyone with a mid-size or crossover is paying $30-40, and a pickup or large SUV is running $40-60. Off the top of my head, two loaves of bread, two cartons of eggs, and four gallons of milk are gonna run minimum of $15ish on a good day unless you're super frugal.

So I could maybe get all that except the bread, milk, and half the eggs, and I'm at the absolute low end of the scale on gas expenditures. Most people can't even get the second tank of gas.

Living in a single bedroom apartment and shopping at Walmart are consistent with being in the middle class, but not having a TV isn't, unless you are one of those "oh, I don't even own a tv" types.

Are there even any "Democrats" who have said they want to raise taxes on some guy who is living in a single bedroom apartment? Isn't that the people they always want to not increase taxes on?

If you're paying $51/tank in your daily driver you're just burning gas for the sake of showing other people you can afford to.

Uhh...but the price of a tank doesn't have anything to do with how fast you use the tank of gas. My gas tank is 18.5 gallons and gas here rn is over $3/gallon. And that would last me potentially months since I extremely don't drive every day.

And it also doesn't have anything to do with the most substantive arguments against that tax cut, i.e. that in exchange for that extra tank and a bag of groceries Scrooge McDuck over there got an extra 1000 ivory handled backscratchers and it's all bundled altogether stuck on you and your kids' tab. Congratulations on your tank of gas and bag of groceries, you short sighted moron.

Interesting thread showing the prior period where Romans 13 was frequently cited in American discourse. I'm sure you'll be shocked to read that it was in defense of slavery. After the Civil War, citations fell abruptly because people saw what a shitty argument is.
