The cats decided to share the sunny spot relatively nicely today (i.e., a minimum of kicking and biting)

It's not their kitchen, FYI. The venue is a rented loft set up for parties.

About two years ago, my wife and I encountered this orange and white cat wandering around the street - he was a bit skinny and dirty, but very friendly, and he had some of the most intense polydactyly I've ever seen - he virtually had thumbs. Unfortunately we weren't able to take him in at the time, and we never saw him again, so we hoped he made it home safe.

But we think we saw him again the other day! He was sitting in front of a house a block over from where we originally saw him, looking a bit older but like he'd put on some weight. So I think he made it home to safety.
