The home-made RV episode was the tipping point. It was truly epic, but it's where they decided that the only way to top it was to have an episode where they jump over a shark.

Looks like a bunch of other movies I've already seen.
I'm more interested in Hacksaw Ridge

Why the fuck is that on blu ray when Walking Tall is out of print?

It's not available on disc from Netflix, much less streaming. And I've already been burned this year by buying a movie before I see it.

The first half owns. Joe Don Blake strutting around with his big stick, and laying down some elemental justice. The second half meanders, though it has a few moments. Could've added a big action sequence, or cut out 20 to 30 mins.

I like Joe Don Baker, but my only frame of reference so far are the Pierce Brosnan Bond movies and the MST3k versions of Mitchell and Final Justice.

You need to watch the great British miniseries, The Edge of Darkness - Baker owns, there's a great sequence discussing a Willie Nelson song, and Eric Clapton furthered his rehap by jamming out the soundtrack.

Also, the director and creator made some of those bond movies. And he went to my undergraduate institution.

2017 might be real bad movie wise. (Or is that reel bad!*) Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is the only I am looking forward to from the Rogue One trailers. After that there is just the next Star Wars movie (in December 2017?).

* Sorry.

My interest is piqued for Dunkirk, but it may be too hokey. I dunno.

Remakes, Hollywood's infatuation with them notwithstanding, are generally a bad idea to begin with. This one I would have particularly advised against as so much relies on the cast chemistry and even being set in the 70's. But Arkin, Freedman, and Caine look like they nailed it.

Actually, the optic nerve part is fine. The visuals were amazing.

It's the plot and dialogue that suck.

I would worry you would see people do the inexplicable things and infer something about plot, then all downhill. Maybe just look at stills in random order?
