I can't remember there ever being such a broad and diverse coalition around something and the lone hold out was Ellie.

Robert Pattinson as Batman
Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman
Andy Serkis as Alfred
Paul Dano as Riddler
Colin Farrell as Penguin
Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon
Your cast so far for Matt Reeves’ #TheBatman, in theaters 6/25/21
Every single casting decision/rumor I read about Matt Reeves's The Batman sounds like it's supposed to be satire.
Maybe someone is finally realizing my dream of rebooting Batman '66.

Naw, that'd have Jim Rash as the riddler, Patton Oswalt as the Penguin, maybe Arturo Castro as Joker?

Not sure who the Kitt/Newmars of the world are, today, who'd be available for this kind of role.

If they did remake Batman '66 you'd have people rooting for mass shooters on opening day.

Wasn't Batman & Robin basically that?

That would be amazing.

I wanna see Uzo Aduba as Catwoman in a Batman '66 reboot. Not slinky, but she could totally rock the I-am-selling-the-camp-of-this-by-being-super-serious-about-my-acting aspect. Fuck, she'd be amazing.

I don't want a slinkless Catwoman. Especially not if you're trying for a '66 reboot.

Hmmm I wouldn't reflexively rule out a plus size Catwoman. Big cats can still slink. But cat burglary is right out.

It's a fair cop.

Have you listened to her podcast, Why Won't You Date Me? I've only heard a few episodes but it's good stuff. :)

I made that my screen saver. I don't need to see the movie now.

Birds of Prey was fun. I mean, it was a DCEU movie, so a few under-developed points, but overall a well-told story where just about everything had a payoff, and characters who were fun to watch. Honestly, it's my favorite DCEU film.
