Madani is tormented. Russo is tormented. This is the sum total of their plot for FIVE EPISODES.

So, what exactly am I supposed to think about the bad guy? He's helping beardy old Corbin Bernsen murder people so that his dying wife can get medical treatment and have a little longer time with her children ... but he's also a creepy religious weirdo? I'm sure they're going for "people are complex" but it just makes me go ehhhhh. Also, it's 2019, you have to try a little harder with your creepy religious weirdos if you want them to actually be menacing. You can't just have a guy wander around dead-eyed dressed like a Hutterite and spouting the occasional Bible verse.

What the hell, Billy Russo and assorted disaffected veterans? Sure, you got the homeless guy his car back, but now he has to leave his entire support system and go on the run to Texas, where he will still be homeless, obviously. All instead of finding a way to get the money to get the car out of impound? And what the hell, homeless dude, why do you keep thanking them? They literally just ruined what was left of your life.

Does Madani not have actual work to do? She's never at her job!

The newest MCU movie, Captain Marvel, is set in 1995.

The real wonder for a web geek like me is peering at the code and seeing that it's perfectly modern stuff, without imagemaps or tables. It's just cunningly recreated, like a carbon-fiber hybrid Model-T.

I was idly wondering about that. Are most browsers today still compatible with a geocities-style webpage?

Gotta be. It's all super simple stuff.

Except for the BLINK tag. W3C deprecated that. Not sure about Times Square Marquee.

Huh, blink doesn't work in my browser (chrome). I knew it had been deprecated, but I didn't know the browsers stopped interpreting it.

Marquee totally works, though.
