I enjoy watching the German passing attack. They are the team so far where I can kinda see how their attack develops.

We need Ian Darke to provide color commentary for NFL games. I guarantee you Joe Buck wouldn't say anything as cool "If the Steelers are going out, they're going out on their shields."

The World Cup is going to be in Russia in 2018? This seems like a sensible idea.

I have often puzzled why the Dutch, who share much with the Germans, have a flag coloured like France's; while the Belgium's, who share much with the French, have a flag coloured like Germany's.

That was like watching the '74 Steelers Defense backing the '76 Bucs passing attack.

I used the Cup as an opportunity better learn the game and get a handle on how the world conversation around the topic works. I kinda enjoyed the sport, though not enough to jump in on Premier League and pick a team or something. When it is pretty it is very pretty - the passing and space creation looks much like how the Spurs played hoops this year.

When it drags, it really drags. Too much reward for the flop. Playing for the tie makes me insane. There are styles of play that are unwatchable.

I think if I watched it would be Premier of GTFO. Should we be world citizens and adopt a Gryll Premier team?

Really, Premier League can be much better soccer than what we're seeing in the World Cup. Teams that practice far more together, all the high quality players.

I think we might have trouble adopting a team as a group, because I'm a ManUtd and Everton fan, with Spurs in 3rd and Arsenal in 4th. And I know that ManUtd really ticks off a lot of people (vile City and Chelsea fans), and Everton ticks off the rest (Liverpool).

If you have NBCSN, it's not a bad way to have something on in the background on Sat and Sun mornings from Sept. to May.

Training camp is sooner. Season starts for me in a little over three weeks.

I'm in this zone myself. I unfortunately haven't been able to watch any matches this year, but I enjoyed the ones I saw last time around in Germany.

If Brazil had learned the true meaning of offsides, Germany would never have gotten that corner.
