For the record I would get the nonstirring kind of it didn't have sugar in it. I don't give a shit about organic or natural or whatever.

But did you notice that a tablespoon of the natural kind has more calories than the sweetened kind.

d000d just make your own.

step 1: buy dry roasted unsalted peanuts
step 2: empty containers into food processor
step 3: blend that shit and get lost for five to seven minutes in the nut hypnosis of solid becoming paste becoming liquid oh my god it's full of carters
step 4: put into a container because hot peanut butter is gross
step 5: you have sugar free peanut butter that was really easy to make and refrigerates into a solid that never separates.
step 6: give that shit to your wife because peanut butter is gross

I'm surprised that there isn't a sugar-free, diabeetus version that still uses lecithin to stabilize the emulsion.

I just want to know why anyone thought it needed sugar. Fucking secret stupid sugar and it's in even a bunch of stupid fancy PB.

So will homemade not separate because fresh (and no palm oil) or just from the fridge?

to be honest my wife eats that shit like it's black tar heroin so i have no idea. (it's one of the few treats she can still tolerate) it will eventually get more creamy/liquidy at room temperature. but i've yet to see any oil formation even after she's left it out on the counter overnight because she's a professor and my life is like that.

Some people grow their own tomatoes and peppers in summer, some grind their own peanut butter. There are certain food 'projects' I like to undertake once in a while even though it's hella easier to just buy it at the grocery.

That's fine. My comment is about having to stir peanut butter like some sort of 19th century animal.

Lol. The OP was actually inspired by almond butter, though I more commonly eat PB.

Cause a touch of sugar improves almost every foodstuff?

Seriously. It's amazing how much most savory dishes are improved by adding, like, half a tablespoon of sugar per serving.

How so? It might be closer to like a tablespoon, I'm not sure, I don't measure it.

Most of my soups get like a quarter cup of tomato and a bit less than that of sugar added. And a couple tablespoons or so of fish sauce.

Our Romas are good. Just froze a batch. The Better Boys are tasty too, but small. The vines thrived through about mid July, but are now blighted. Don't know if we'll get more. The pepper plants are all healthy looking but only the Mild Jalapeno is producing.
