I didn't know it was a manga.

Tomato season should be underway in GA. Hit up a farmers market and make youself a BLT heavy on the T. Schmeer on both slices of toast.

The problem with BLTs is that I don't like L or T on my sandwiches.

I only like tomatoes during their two month or so season.

Canned are better every other time agree, and that's for cooking not sandwiches. The heirlooms around here have an extended recent season.

I converted to mayo as an adult. BLTs were a revelation.

I broke open the mayonnaise jar today for the first time, to try this Taco Bell quesadilla knockoff recipe, and it was awesome. (The only differences between my version and the linked recipe were: I used all-cheddar cheese rather than half-cheddar, half-Monterey Jack, and also I used steak bits rather than chicken.) The upside is, I now have a way to satisfy my Taco Bell quesadilla-sauce cravings that costs far less money than actually buying the original product (and since the recipe calls for only a quarter-cup of meat per quesadilla, it will be a good way to use up small amounts of leftover meat, too.)

The downside is, henceforth I'll have to be a semi-regular buyer of jars of mayonnaise.

The response to the bubble tea article was nuts.

Also, it sounds gross. Like a frappucino.

Yeah, from what I can tell, it's an "I want a dessert drink, but not a milkshake" kind of thing.

It's OK, but reinforces that Asia and desserts are not a good combination.

I prefer 7-9, I'd eat one at 11 if it was already bought.
