I get it -- rich people like big houses, and if your house renovation is worthy of This Old House then you're pretty well off. But if you are a family of two parents and two kids, and you buy this behemoth and then immediately put on two additions, I am going to JUDGE THE FUCK OUT OF YOU.

My favorite part of canvassing or lit dropping the weekend after Halloween is eating the occasional piece of candy I find on someone's driveway.

I want to join a sew-along that an internet friend is doing and make a simple shirt, but digging out my sewing machine around my troublesome children is just asking for trouble. So I'm looking up hand-stitching for knit fabric and getting WAY too much amusement out of learning about the "fagot stitch."

Hand sewing is SO fucking tedious. Even fagot stitching sucks (not in the fun way when you think of that word, either). No wonder people invented sewing machines.
