Ahhhh, that story is SO GOOD.

I was going to comment that it doesn't have enough plot to fill a half-hour show, but that never stopped Twilight Zone before.
You could easily drum it up with the increasing worry that they're going to be killed when the printout "doesn't work."

I think to update it as to why you'd need specialists, you'd have to make it carved and need a 3D printer.

I ordered a Little River Band cd, so if I was capable of shame, I would probably feel some for that.

I found it mildly interesting, and have documented low testosterone. Checks out.

I found it mildly interesting, but I have something of a professional interest in the wedding business and spend a lot of time around brides.

In anticipation of my upcoming road trip, I downloaded and purchased a number of Grateful Dead shows from late 1968 to early 1970. I already had the official release Live/Dead, but now I have a number of complete concerts with similar setlists. I should be able to listen to nothing but those concerts for the 8+ hours of driving.

I'm not actually much of a Deadhead, but I do enjoy the 68-70 psychedelic jamming. I have a tough time with Europe 72 and such.

I don't really like the freeform jams, I prefer the songs.

I think Vox ending open bar at their office holiday party is a good idea.

Also, this may rank in top 10 stupid Robbie Soave comments.

[Scans Soave's Twitter feed] I dunno, his original take on the Vox party business might be even stupider:

Nope, there are few things dumber than not thinking an office holiday party is a work event. No wonder he sticks to the college beat, that's a fundamental misunderstanding of the adult world.

Robby is an idiot but also it needs to be open bar because otherwise you’re not paying me enough to be there.

I dunno -- not knowing office parties are work events on the one hand, pointing to an office party going from "open bar" to "two free drinks" as a terrifying example of the regressive left "weaponizing" the brand-new cultural trend of speaking out against abusive men who sexually assault people on the other....

I agree, but I don't need to risk my career getting hammered in front of my boss. Two drink tickets is enough to entice me to make a token showing for appearances and then bounce.

From my limited experience, DC journalism does not treat alcohol the way most businesses do.
