I've seen Warren's shed. He probably does.

New Shaver
There was a time I shaved with disposables. When I did, I shaved in the shower. That worked very well, except that I occasionally cut myself. Now I can use an electric shaver in the shower.
After my first test shave I have come to the unshakable conclusion that if you shave anywhere not in the shower you are doing it wrong.

I'm still very happy with the price and performance of the dorco 4 or 6 blade cartridge setup I think Mo introduced me to lo many years ago.

I didn't like the way the sun was glaring off it, so I just drove it off the drive to get a better angle.

I thought this was the "Lust to Acquire" thread not "Lusted and Acquired"!

I fucking hate everybody that ever bought a new car. If you've ever bought a new car then you can die in a fucking fire. Yes you! You are the reason I have to put up with bucket seats and a center counsel. And now your galactic stupidity is why I have to have fucking 19" rims. FUCKING NINETEEN INCH RIMS! The absolutely stupidest automotive fad ever. I'd take tail fins over big rims. They lower the fuel economy, let go of the road in wet conditions quicker, give a rougher ride, and cost four times as much to replace. So why won't they sell me 16" rims? Because big rims "look cool". SRSLY? Fuck you if you think big rims look cool. Fuck you to death.

My last trade in was an 08 and I have a shit-ton to learn regarding the new features. I'm loving me some adaptive cruise control. I taught the car to open the garage door. But I'm having trouble getting it to lock itself when I walk away from it. I connected my phone to it, but haven't yet made any use of that. Gonna take a while to get the music straightened out. Don't know if I can mix AM/FM/Satellite/Spotify onto one screen.

My experience with the phone hookup is that it's great for answering incoming calls, not all that great at making calls, but that's from the 2013 model.

I tried out an Orange amp the other day and really liked it, but I'm not about to buy one for space reasons as much as anything else. Just out of curiosity, I googled for pedals that imitate the Orange sound, and found a list of a few. Looking those up, the very first one came up as available at my local Guitar Center for a very good price. *sigh* I really did not need an excuse to buy it, but...

I went there and it was gone. The label was still on the spot on the shelf, but the pedal was gone. Now I don't know how to feel about that - annoyed that I couldn't get it, or relieved that the decision was made for me about spending the money.

Let's see, where was that image...

Image

Actually, I'm kind of tempted to get the real amp instead of the pedal. If I sold my Marshall combo - which I really like but is of limited use and is rather bulky for what it does - I could just buy an Orange CR120H outright, and if I had the Orange I could sell my Jet City head since I wouldn't need both...

Alternately I might just buy a different pedal, because I'm cheap but it would satisfy my pedal jones.

Orange amps are great. You could get it and then maybe a few pedals to stick in front of it, and then you'll probably need a new guitar with P-90s to plug into it....

I am totally set on guitars, actually. :-P I have my G&L Comanche to satisfy my Strat needs, a couple Les Paul-ish guitars (one with humbuckers, one with P90-likes and a Bigsby-ish tremolo) for my Les Paul needs, a Flying V, a doublecut with a single P90, and a bass. I don't care much for Teles so that's out.

Don't mention a full-scale Jazz bass, though.
