I visited the Picasso museum (former residence) in Malaga a few years back. My honest reaction was 'God, he produced a lot of crap.' Note that I did not say he never produced anything great, just that he produced a lot of crap in addition to the stuff that is good.

My brother, who considers Picasso a genius, was greatly offended.

I am of the opinion that it's neigh impossible to producing anything great without producing a lot of crap.

Hate to trot out the old cliche, but every field of art seems to require dropping a lot of stinkers before you get something worth sharing. I wish I'd gotten that out of the way when I was younger, instead of getting discouraged. Now, I just feel old and knackered.

I caught a segment of Live From Here with Tom Papa talking about a veteran he met in DC: "As we stood together at the World War II Memorial, Ronnie said he hopes we're moving away from a war with North Korea. Then he added, "If you think about it, Kim Jong-Un has got to be scared of us. The only 2 Americans he’s ever met are Donald Trump and Dennis Rodman."
I should have listened to Warren. He was right again as usual.
