There's a very specific broken clock in play, here. When it comes to the sort of human rights issues that get libertarians het up (and that Team Blue is supposed to care about), it's conspicuously the Blues a bit further to the left who actually also care about them and don't bury the issue at the first opportunity.

It's why I've never completely hated the left, even when some of them make me think they want to line me up against a wall...

First you must learn to hate yourself. Only then can you truly hate the left... and the right... pretty much everyone not you.

Obviously I'm all about abolishing ICE, and it is nice to see a sitting politician talking about ending a (unionized!) federal agency that demonstrably harms people. But let's see some legislation to that effect, and during an administration that didn't run on the complete opposite sentiment. Otherwise it's just Chuck Schumer/Rand Paul-style attention whoring.

Seriously, though. You can't just fully justify every line and pretend you've thereby done something clever and artistic. Especially if it results in that horrific "SNAILS" monstrosity.
