Introducing our newest addition to the menu, Asian Seafood Sugar: clams, shrimp, calamari, and muscles sautéed with Korean sauce, African spices, fresh lime, and served over basmati rice.
I should have listened to Warren. He was right again as usual.

Sounds like a sweet deal to me.

(How does one even get 'sugar' from 'sampler'? What kind of autocorrect is that?)

I had kind of glossed over that, since everything else on their menu has such goofy names (like "Chicken Fantastic" for chicken alfredo, and why does an African restaurant have chicken alfredo, I'd like to know).

Googled a bit and it's supposed to be "suqaar" (basically a Somali name for stir-fry).

LOL I'm just wondering what those "African spices" are doing in "Asian Seafood".

Legacy of Italian colonialism? I'm only half-joking about that; I dimly recall reading somewhere that areas that were colonized by Italy have somewhat different cuisines as a result.

Personally, I'm going to enjoy seeing hoards of non-African American boys and girls running around wearing costumes inspired by the movie "Black Panther".
