Am I the only one annoyed by the fact that links here don't actually look like links? They're not colored differently, they're not underlined, they basically look like any other text.

Mine are colored green and underlined. I forget what theme I have; Maxthon or Maxim or Mathlete or something.

I was a mathlete in high school. I actually lettered in math. We mathletes owned the school halls, walking tough in our high water pants, letter patch sewn to the sleeve of our Members Only jackets. If you crossed us, you got your ass slide-ruled!

* Well the math competitions and the lettering are true. We weren't really tough, nor did we mete out punishment with iron slide rules.

Good times. I remember walking the halls of my Junior College. My HP48 hanging from my belt with the case unzipped so I could "quick draw" it. You better know I had a twitchy keypad finger too.

My HP48G had expanded memory capacity and with enough tweaking, I could get it to turn off the TV via the infrared port.

Reverse Polish Notation* kicks ass.

Heh. Correct. Though in this case, just lazy. (Shamed into checking, I discover I was correct: Maxthon.)

My links are blue and underlined. I'm using whatever default theme was in place when I arrived here.

I didn't individualize my theme like all you other conformists.

I am mildly annoyed by the "Save" button, which I have twice confused with the "submit" button, thus sending my post off into "Drafts".

And I have yet to figure out how to make it Post from Drafts, except by copying and pasting into the thread. :x

Make that thrice. :x :x

I always get a "did you mean to do that page" allowing me to back out of it.
If you do save it, you can find it in your User Control Panel. Hitting "Load Draft" will allow you to edit and submit it.

I have finally figured out that "Do you want to save it" page. The first couple of times I saw it, I figured if I clicked "no", I would vaporize what I had just typed.

fractions decimals percents = Middle-School Math!?

Oh dear lady, that's deeply depressing. Who's pouring? I need a drink.

All that basic crap should be mastered by the sixth grade.* Unlike many here, I don't have a mathemetical mind (algebra, geometry, trig and enough Boolean to make a fool of myself), but junior high** math should be about number systems, exponential notation, logarithms, basic algebra, geometry, and anything that resident math nerds will point out I omitted. At a bare minimum, an introduction to all of the above to pique the youngster's curiosity only makes sense.. ***

* Yeah, some children will be left behind. Life's a bitch, live with it.
** Fuck rearranging deck chairs.
*** I cruised through public school math, no effort expended. That is a failure that the AFT and NEA don't want to talk about.

OK, this may have been addressed, but why can't we embed movies in this system? I've tried it a couple times and just wind up with the embed code posted.
