So, aside from new and mostly unattractive styles, why exactly have we been subjected to this?

So that we can embed tweets. Like this:

Also, we were on an unsupported version, so it's quite possible we were sitting on some nasty security holes.

Thanks to my company blocking twitter at the firewall, now instead of links I can't click, I get

and a bird picture.

Me too but no bird pic which is also blocked.

Say, why do some threads seem to have quick reply (like this one) whereas others don't?

Sometimes when I click on the little icon that means "unread post" it takes me to the post and sometimes I have to scroll down to find it. What's up with that?

If you've already visited that post, then the Unread Post (on the forum topic list) will take you to the top of the last page. It won't take you to the same post a second time. Maybe it's something related to that?

No. I think it's an image thing. It takes me to the post and then images load and push it down. Maybe.

Is there a way to mark every post as read? I like the new 'Unread posts' link but I've got over 11 pages of threads with unread posts in them.

Thanks Sandy; very nice.

I would like (but do not demand or expect) two features:

A feature at the bottom of any given page of posts that navigates to the parent sub-forum (ex. General Chatter, Joys of Life)

A feature where, on the Board Index page, each sub-forum box displays the (top or single) new posts/authors/time

PREQUEL EDIT: If you submit a post to the thread, the link to the sub forum index appears afterwards.

op:

So, sometimes there is a link at the bottom of the page to go up to the sub forum index, and sometimes there isn't? I'll try to get a screenshot.
