Same bar chart for Yang supporters. Though you would probably need a category for "Body double, living in Jamaica with Biggie".

It's not that people didn't want him dead. It's just that some wanted him dead earlier (and more conveniently) than others. ;)

Boy there has been a massive reckoning at the Media Lab over Joi Ito’s laundering of his dirty money. Also, love that the science center at Harvard he endowed is called the PED.

There are now calls to "Remove Richard Stallman" (from his employment at MIT) due to his recent comments about the Epstein case. I think there is actually a decent case to be made for that, but the Medium piece isn't it. It comes across as "I'm mad because Richard Stallman offends me because he has wrongthink", although really I'm surprised that Stallman's superiors at MIT haven't already reined him in due to his unprofessional behavior and the bad publicity he's generating.

One of my Tumblr friends was like, "Stallman is old and says dumb things and has no idea how he comes across, and needs to shut up. And yet that Medium piece makes you sympathetic to Stallman."

For all the rich and powerful people connected to Epstein, the main result of his downfall (aside from Epstein himself) has been making some weirdo at MIT resign over an email. I'm not sure I can handle so much justice.

I interpreted that to mean Stallman, since he has apparently resigned from MIT.

I meant to write a big thing about Stallman, Selam wossername, and culture, but I haven't had the time to do it yet. I mean to get around to it, though.

Independent Pathologist Suggests Jeffrey Epstein May Have Been Strangled
According to Dr. Michael Baden — a former New York City medical examiner and a Fox News contributor — Epstein had three breaks in his neck when staff at Manhattan's Metropolitan Correctional Center found him dead early on the morning of August 10th. One bone had snapped on either side of his larynx, and one above his Adam's apple (the hyoid bone). Those injuries "are extremely unusual in suicidal hangings and could occur much more commonly in homicidal strangulation," Baden told Fox & Friends on Wednesday. He also noted that the types of hemorrhages seen in Epstein's eyes are more common in homicidal strangulation than in suicide by strangulation.

"I think that the evidence points to homicide rather than suicide," Baden said. "I’ve not seen in 50 years where that occurred in a suicidal hanging case."
This is basically the same suspicion raised by Epstein's defense team when a judge dismissed the case in August. It's also worth emphasizing that Epstein's brother hired Baden, and that this argument is not new.

Epstein Didn't Kill Himself is the new Rick Roll. So my question now is, Two years from now will anybody remember either of those things?

If I were Rick Astley, I'd definitely write and record a song named "Epstein Didn't Kill Himself" ASAP.

I feel like Epstein is the new Harambe. Rickrolling certainly peaked in the earlier days of Youtube but it's still an undercurrent of lulzatopia. Epstein will have to survive a long time to match Rickroll for longevity. The proof is in the pudding, only time will tell, taxation is theft.
