The training is no doubt real. Some of the "Hey, make sure not to photograph these guys" or "My lesbian niece was told she's trans" stuff seems too good to be true.

I mean, it could be true, but I would like to know that they vetted this person. After the previous incident, you never know.

Look at the brochures for every school, business, non-profit, what have you, and there can be no question of the veracity of that claim.

Fake but accurate? The thing that pinged my b.s. detector was sharing their favorite Viennese hotels.

I don’t know, I’ve definitely met with client-side execs who do shit like that. I’ve literally been in meetings with people talking about their favorite Viennese hotels.

OMG when I read the article, I read that as Vietnamese hotels.
Now I'm like "Oh. That's different."

Also she's not saying she's a diversity training specialist. She's just a copywriter.

Well, this is annoying: I see that at some earlier point I pre-allowed Haaretz on my AdBlocker software -- the whole site is green-lighted -- yet even so, the article only stayed up long enough for me to read the first paragraph before I got the note saying thir site is not inaccessible to people with adblockers. (Which I do indeed have, but exempted this site FFS.)

I stopped paying attention to Jordan when he decided he liked being the voice of the Alt-Right.
I found the linked article to be overly long, and short on citations for it's refutations.

Peterson is a profoundly weird dude. I can't decide if he is so invested in his model he sees in in action everywhere of if he's just a running a con. His whole choosing his words very carefully thing operates in a context of if you already have signed up for his whole program you know what these words "really" mean. It's very much like social justice in that regard.

Did things turn out okay for him or is he still in a coma or whatever?

My impression, gleaned from quality sources like "people shitposting on Twitter about other people shitposting on Reddit" was that he was on an all-meat diet and addicted to benzos and his daughter sent him to a rehab in Russia where they took him off the drugs cold turkey and he went into a coma. But then also somehow the people in his camp were all, "It's fine, guys, he's totally fine!" ?

I was watching his rise 2016-2018. He stumbled into fame and fortune, and I guess he must of liked it because he remade himself into what his audience wanted him to be.
Wikipedia wrote:Health problems

In late 2016, Peterson went on a strict diet consisting only of meat and some vegetables to control severe depression and an autoimmune disorder, including psoriasis and uveitis.[5][70] In mid-2018 he stopped eating vegetables, and continued eating only beef (see carnivore diet).[137] In 2019, Peterson entered a rehabilitation facility after experiencing symptoms of physical withdrawal when he stopped taking clonazepam, an anti-anxiety drug. He had begun taking the drug on his doctor's recommendation, following his wife's cancer diagnosis.[138][139][140] In January 2020, Peterson, his daughter Mikhaila and her husband flew to Russia for a course of detox. He was diagnosed with pneumonia in both lungs upon arrival and was put into a coma for eight days. Peterson spent four weeks in the intensive care unit, and had "neurological damage from the benzodiazepines". He experienced a temporary loss of motor skills and muteness.[141][142]

In June 2020, Peterson made his first public appearance in over a year, when he appeared on his daughter Mikhaila's video podcast, recorded in Belgrade, Serbia where he was receiving further treatment. He said that he was "back to my regular self", other than feeling fatigue.[143]
