90% of the time I go out through fly. I hate buttoned boxers, as that's way more work than I'm into. Pretty sure when I wore straight boxers that I left it unbuttoned 24/7.

But if I need careful aim because a specific toilet is prone to splashback, I go full unbutton/unzip/over-the-top with nothing touching the equipment, because constriction leads to turbulence, and you need laminar flow for accurate aim.

Seriously, I've never heard a group of guys make such a hassle out of taking a piss. I mean, I get that sometimes women wear really elaborate clothes that are hard to remove for a bathroom break, and no doubt dudes wearing special protective gear for work have some issues. But a dude in an office job should not have trouble taking a piss.

I mean, I work in a building full of idiot dudes, and while I've never paid close attention to what they do in the bathroom, I've also never heard anyone be all "I, like, can't, like, figure out how to, you know, like, remove the dick and aim at the thing."

I pee outside on the regular and having to go through a lot of outerwear means a fly is nice because it's less stuff to hold out of the way. I don't want to unbuckle a belt, hold a coat out of the way, then hold elastic down, it's a pain. And a fly lets me avoid unbuckling and just, uh, snake through, to use the parlance of this thread.

I mean it's possible that there are flooring options that are cheaper and uglier than wood, but you'd have to work at it. Even peel n stick vinyl costs more per square foot.

I'm confused by vinyl more expensive than hardwood. Maybe some vinyl more expensive than some veneered pressed wood, but I've never heard of vinyl more expensive than hardwood planks.
