It has occurred to me that the President of U. Missouri had to step down after the football team turned on him...

Yeah, but I don't think U. Missouri's president had a college Congress whose majority believed their job was to suck presidential cock until their cheekbones were sharp enough to slice through whatever bill of student rights exists there.

I've pretty much abandoned any hope that the Republicans will put the good of the country over the short-term interests of their party -- and so long as Trump keeps the -(R) after his name, they'll continue enabling him no matter how egregiously he behaves.

But look how well-defined the Republicans' cheekbones are nowadays!

Well. He's been impeached, which I did not think would happen.

I still doubt he will be convicted.

I got it wrong; I apparently thought he'd be impeached and convicted before the midterms.

WTF, past me.

Seems I vote impeached and convicted after the '22 midterms. Might have gone down that way too if the Dems weren't in such a gul danged hurry.

BTW
Anybody else think 'impeached' sounds like a sex act?

I got the timing right, but I went for "convicted". Technically, could still happen. Technically.

I too was wrong that he would not be impeached. I maintain that he will not be convicted. Also fairly sure he will be reelected.

I dunno man. I'm still confident that the senate will not convict. But Trump is trying REALLY HARD not to get reelected. But then again, maybe not as hard as the Democrats are trying to get him reelected. I'm holding off all election predictions at least until I have confidence on who the nominee will be. I'm militant agnostic in this. I don't know, and you don't either.

Yeah. It's almost as if each side knows something awful is going to happen after Jan 20, 2021 and wants the other side to be hung for it.

You, me, Dangerman, and one other.

I mean, technically there are seven other people who are equally right because the only thing that can be absolutely evaluated is 'impeached' but this batch of Republicans in the Senate are almost metaphysically certain to acquit, so I mean no in all but the most technical sense (which is the best sense) we are the four people who were right.
