Doc Special K is all up in Trump's face over trade war:
Paul Krugman wrote:What would happen instead is that the Fed would raise rates sharply to head off inflationary pressures (especially because a 20 percent tariff would directly raise prices by something like 3 percent.) The rise in interest rates would have two big effects. First, it would squeeze interest-sensitive sectors: Trump’s friends in real estate would become very, very unhappy, as would anyone who is highly leveraged (hello, Jared.)

Second, it would drive up the dollar, inflicting severe harm on U.S. export sectors. Greetings, farmers of Iowa!

I suppose the T could stand for "totally". And the K could be passed tense just for grammar.

Jesus, I know what TKO is and I am confused whether it's okay to call boxing sportsball.

I always read TKO as Total Knockout and then have to go back and correct myself. But I already know that I am always wrong.

Also, isn't being unconscious for 5 minutes after a head injury an indication of some pretty severe damage? I thought that was just in the movies, and in real life people are only out for a few seconds, unless they end up legit comatose.

(but I am probably wrong. See above!)

At this point, Steely Dan is just one person, so you're not entirely wrong.

I have. While there certainly is talk of agency, there's also a lot of discussion of societal norms and systemic factors that contribute to poverty.

Yes. It's #Sad, but TV's 'Archer' is currently the leading voice in concussion awareness. You really don't want to be out that long.
