Via H&R, literal government transparency:
One of the things with the wall is you need transparency. You have to be able to see through it. In other words, if you can’t see through that wall — so it could be a steel wall with openings, but you have to have openings because you have to see what’s on the other side of the wall.

And I’ll give you an example. As horrible as it sounds, when they throw the large sacks of drugs over, and if you have people on the other side of the wall, you don’t see them — they hit you on the head with 60 pounds of stuff? It’s over. As crazy as that sounds, you need transparency through that wall. But we have some incredible designs.

But I thought he wanted a solar wall, and the wall won't generate solar energy unless the light is absorbed rather than transmitted so...

Fuck it. Sure, Donaldik Fredoyovich. Whatever you say. We'll just use transparent aluminum, like in that Star Trek movie where they went to San Francisco in the 80's.

They showed a clip on TDS of a guy reading excerpts from that on CNBC or some such. Every time he finished a phrase, his eyes were a little duller. By the time he'd finished his report, you could see every hope and dream of changing the world through journalism just curled up dead on the floor of his mind. He'd gone from living to merely existing in the course of a thirty second spot.

Well, at least it shows The Donald is aware that his drug crackdown will cause an increase in drug smuggling across the border.

Perhaps he's in bed with some Mexican drug cartels. As crazy as it sounds, the idea's not that out of place given everything else that's happened over the last six months...

Even I think that is crazy. I have no idea if it's false.
