And the immediate preceding sentence was the Ukrainian president saying, "...we are almost ready to buy more Javelins [anti-tank missiles that replaced the TOW] from United States for defense purposes."
NB: To the best of my knowledge, the Javelin replaced the Dragon. The TOW is still very much in use and I have not heard anything about a potential replacement.

Sorry yes the TOW is used on Bradleys et al. The Erstwhile Surly Teen was a gunner on a Bradley for a while*. For some reason I thought the TOW had been used as an infantry heavy antitank missile in special units, and that was what the Javelin was replacing. But now that I think of it 95% of my understanding of this stuff probably derives from Team Yankee, Red Storm Rising, and The Third World War, August 1983, and maybe one of the Larry Bond books.

Just to get out in front of this, if #CivilWar2 does happen, I'm going straight copperhead. Neither side is worth fighting for.

Clever of you to invest in copper. Most people go for gold or silver, not realizing that makes them an easy target.

Personally, I would invest in rare earth elements.

Wait. What are the two sides? Red and Blue? Where is the border? City Mouse vs Country Mouse? What are we fighting over? The oval office?
Sounds more like West Wing fanfic than a civil war.

Spiked shoulder pads, eyepatch, mohawk, black boots, taciturn red right hand, shakey pallid lackey, exotic pet like a hyena or komodo dragon.

And theme music is a must have.
I'd urge to resist the temptation to go with Metalica.
Maybe this, it's been used already, but not in this country.

I would either use my evil fiziks skillz to help the Blue States with WMD or enlist to fight in the Battle of Mar Lago.

I believe it will be concurrent with our Irish allies besieging a resort in Doonbeg.

I did not expect the GOP defense to be basically, "Hey! That guy says LOTS of stuff. Honest mistake so no laws broken."

It's the same defense you make for your demented grandpa when he starts angrily repeating Tucker Carlson talking points about gays ruining our country.
