It's not a war crime. It's an act of war, with dubious constutional authority, but it's not a war crime.

Ah, but this was not war, just a "kinetic military action", and, most importantly, Europe approved of it.

It's only a war crime if the major nations of Europe disapprove and decide to make a stink about it.

Even on this ethical playing field, it's hard to call it 'an agressive war'. The two sides were already at war, we just picked a side.

It's a felony. It's only a war crime if you go through the door first.

As part of the post-mortem lionization of GHWB, CNN published his successor letter to Clinton, making me wonder what Trump's letter will be like, if he even writes one.

If Trump loses in 2020, the eleven weeks between the election and the inauguration of his successor are going to be epic Trumpism. I would not be surprised if he never made a concession speech or composed a successor letter.

Maybe a how-to letter that includes "Watch Fox New" and "Trust No One, Not Even Family".

I'd be unsurprised if he just walked out on the office the second it became clear that he'd lose. Alternatively, he'd spend his last weeks firing everyone who wouldn't try to throw out the election because of the tens of millions of fraudulent voters.

If we're lucky, a low-speed chase from the White House to Trump Tower.
