I would be thrilled for Trump to spend only one more day underwater, as long as it was literal.

Someone said that he thought America having a president-for-life was a good idea. I suggested that he could be president for life if he followed the William Henry Harrison model.

Of all the plot twists 2018 has delivered, blond white lady country singer coming out for the Blues while a black rapper goes Red Pill (in every sense) is not one I saw coming.

Will Kanye run up on stage at the next awards show and go on about how Donald Trump's electoral college victory was the greatest of all time?

BTW, I would like to correct myself on something: he has not spent the entire 630 days underwater; there was a period of almost two weeks at the beginning when he had a positive net approval rating.
I have absolute faith in the Democrats to put forward someone equally unpopular.
How I wish the LP could find someone with equal parts ideology and charisma.
They nominated Bob Barr, didn't they? ;)

That artist is lying his ass off to sell those paintings. Way to many emotional appeals. I'm surprised I didn't see one with an eagle crying a single tear.

I thought the McNaughton oeuvre was well known around here, and you're the guys that introduced it to me a few years ago (via the parody United States of Cthulhu)

Still no fan of Trump, but from a purely aesthetic view, I really dig this painting, especially the artist's tactful depictions of lesser RPOTUS'es:

For all their flaws, I can't imagine any of those guys wanting to hang around with Trump. Nobody with more brain cells than Kanye wants to hang around with Trump.

Weirdly enough, plop Obama in Trump's seat and I instantly believe it. There's a reason Blues love to contrast pictures of foreign dignitaries charmed by the Obamas and uncomfortable around Trump. Nixon would probably love him for the "took the nomination from the party leaders' original chosen" thing.

Nixon least of all I think. Nixon worked the system from within. Pretty much the opposite of a populist.
And I don't think Obama, with his Ivy affectations, would fit in so well. Bill Clinton OTOH I totally buy.
