When Trump discovers that everyone in the Philippines has Spanish names, do you think he'll ask his aides why they went to Mexico in the middle of an Asia trip?

It's happening, it's happening!
An Alabama woman is expected to disclose allegations of sexual assault against Roy Moore during a press conference today in New York.

New York Attorney Gloria Allred is holding a press conference at 1:30 p.m. CST (2:30 p.m. EST) with the new accuser, whose name hasn't been made public. The woman alleges that Moore, Alabama's Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, assaulted her when she was a minor.

If we're talking about 2024 he'd be 92, so I did exclude him.

Although I wouldn't put it past Trump to replace Pence with him in '20.

Possibly the Clinton Foundation is guilty of something, but instead it sure looks like the Republicans are desperate to draw attention from the endless Russia investigation, not to mention the Moore allegations.

Democrats — who in late 2013 abolished the ability of 41 lawmakers to block such nominees with a filibuster, then quickly lost control of the Senate — have scant power to stop them.

The question that comes to mind is "will the senate majority party now forever after (or until a constitutional amendment is ratified, aka "forever after") just completely block all court nominees from an opposition president? Seems like the GOP essentially got away with stonewalling all of Obama's picks for over a year, including SCOTUS appointments, with almost nothing in the way of blowback. So what's the downside of just playing keep away from the other team? Could that really be a winning point for the minority team to win back the Senate?
