When you want to help a borderline guy with his physical readiness test, you can forget how parallax works when your measuring how tall he is. But you really can't make the scale read any different than what the numbers that are displayed. (Even with the scales that you manually move the weights around on)

I got to think that medical professional ethics are even more the limiting factor than his oath, but both probably say that straight up lying is a no no.

For most of us mere mortals, all those numbers aren't recorded by the doc, but by a corpsman. And it wouldn't surprise me that the height is patient self reported (because that's how it was when I went to Walter Reed myself about a month ago), but I got to think he's still stepping on a scale, and getting the blood pressure cuff/finger thingy for the other vitals.

(But maybe they didn't weight him either, I'm trying to remember now if it was the ER or Walter Reed where I self reported my weight too. But neither was a full physical exam either)

Anyway, if the doc is just reading the data that is put front of him by his team, and it's not egregiously in error (e.g. 'what's this pap smear result doing here?) I imagine the doc is simply going to go with it and imo be completely within all ethical guidelines.

Well yeah, it's pretty clear that Trump ain't 6'4". I meant the stuff about saying he's in "excellent health" when presumably disinterested experts are saying NFW is anyone on Crestor with an LDL over 140 in "excellent health".

When even Dr. Oz is saying "lol heart disease FTW" in a White House press conference, you can be pretty sure something is rotten.

So, the good news is that Mike Pence might be getting a promotion. Sweet!

I will say in my time I've seen some really good navy docs but also a few that completely fouled up the diagnosis and prescription (luckily for something minor enough that it was merely completely ineffective, vice anything actually dangerous)

Though none of them was personal physician to the president, which is a pretty prestigious posting.

Anyway, in the past week we've learned about money laundering with Duvalier, Russian money to the NRA, hush money to a pr0n star, and former advisor Sebastian Gorka facing criminal charges in Hungary while working in the White House.

In any other administration, Democrat or Republican, the VP would be calling interior decorators to get some estimates for Oval Office remodeling. Trump? Eh. Let's talk about shitholes and how much he weighs.

I don't follow; it's not like the Dems give a fuck what the lefties say.
