What's really remarkable to me is no one seems to be drawing attention to the burn rate of the Trump campaign. Yeah, he's raising a shitton of money, more and earlier than anyone else in history, but he's also spending far far more than anyone else at the this stage of the campaign. (and it's not like he needs to boost his name recognition)

They're busy sending out fake census questionnaires.

2010 was an off year. Think of that as Beta Testing. Should get a more impactful, focus-group perfected, version in 2020, with a much greater yield.

Perhaps this scheme will backfire when Republicans throw out the real census questionnaire thinking they already filled it out...

I basically read about the second one on Twitter, Googled for the article and the first one came up.

I never thought Mo would be our crypto-fascist deep cover agent. I was sure it was Taktix. Now I don't know what to think.

I imagine Colorado hippies would prefer a candidate who supports marijuana legalization.

No one knows anything about Colorado politics that isn't living or from Colorado, Hugh.

Which begs the question of whether Coloradans know anything about Colorado politics.

I know nothing about politics. It's why I come to the gryll. You guys tend to do my thinking for me. Which I appreciate. I'm busy these days.

Well Hickenlooper is the guy who founded that one brewery/brewpub and had all the ads with him on a scooter and some immigration activists think he’s Donald Trump because he declined to offer a pardon to an undocumented immigrant for identity theft because she used someone else’s SSN and it screwed up their tax status and I think killed their disability payments or some other means tested thing so she became ineligible for DACA or the like and got deported. Which sucks but she did fuck someone over.

So basically he’s for aging hipsters who’re starting to think about their portfolios and whether it’s really optimized for their lifestyle.

*gets out notepad*

Hickenlooper. Not pot friendly. Likes beer. Likes immigrants. Likes identity theft.

Got it now. Complex man there.

He also had the opportunity to commute the death sentence (or not) of Nathan Dunlap, but instead he just kicked the can down the road by delaying the execution date for when the Hick would be out of office.

Hickenlooper is a dumb name. That's my super-hot take. It rhymes with "chicken pooper."

Crap. I just realized I have had his name wrong all the time.

I (honestly), thought it was "Hickenhooper". (Which sounds even dumber.)
