We're not speaking Korean, so it went well enough

JD is speaking Korean some these days, so it didn't go that great, either.

Personally, I have been expecting a drop in the market for over two years. It kept going up longer than I expected. I expect it will go down quite a bit more. I probably won't catch the bottom, but I have a target price for certain stocks to buy in once more. My personal guess - and it is no more than that - is there will be another 25 - 30% drop by mid 2019.

My gut is that the coming recession, which I felt has been coming for a while, is in the 1991/2001 recession level. A few years of being dislodged, but nothing traumatic like 08 or the 70s.

Watch corporate fundamentals more than exogenous variables like fed policy or nebulous trade war stuff or government shut down fears to see how I think about things.

It is. However, when you use words like "aggressive" to describe recent Fed policy, we've gone through the looking glass. The market is more addicted to free money than a junkie is to heroin. And they're not even in withdrawal, they're just throwing a hissy because it's not free anymore.

Fed policy isn’t objectively aggressive and the reaction is outsized.

Yes like corporate debt. But also other things.
