nope nope nope nope nope. I'm not making excuses for either song, and good people can disagree about just how awful Achy Breaky is relative to Happy and All About that Bass, but there's no way that I'm Too Sexy is worse than both of those. Both of those are obviously the worst two popular songs of 2014, and I'm Too Sexy is only mostly awful.

I revise my previous statement to put their awfulness in this order: Achy Breaky = worst. All About that Bass = almost as bad, but measurably less bad. I'm Too Sexy = Happy = would be the worst in many years, although with Call Me Maybe and Blurred Lines out there, there's a lot of awful awful shit to compete with both of those.

Props. I didn't know Russia had skinheads. I figured they were outlawed, like, um, homosexuality.

Aren't skinheads banned in much of Europe, particularly in Germany?

Evidence this decade is worse than the 90s. In the 90s we tried to forget Chumbawumba, now people are donating money to create a retrospective.

That's a recursive time paradox suck claim. Today's crap references the original crap so history must show the original crap is responsible for its chumbawumba and ours.

I got to see Soul Asylum and the Meat Puppets the night before Halloween in St. Petersburg (Florida, not Russia).

I needed an article that wasn't available through the university's online subscription but happened to be on microfilm. Been a while since I've done this. I'm pretty sure that the last time I used microfilm was 1995.

Doctor T, young Ted Cruz stole your time machine from 1991 and came to the present day to ask himself a question tonight.
