Back on Feb 6 I placed an order with Amazon. It still hasn't shipped. Now I chose slowest shipping, so it get's here when it gets here. But what's bugging me, is I think This Item is what's holding it up. You'll notice the Usually ships within 1 to 2 months. prominently displayed. However, you might also notice that this is an "Amazon Choice" item. And if you mouse-over the Amazon Choice flag the popup will inform you
Amazon's Choice recommends highly rated, well-priced products available to ship immediately.

Don't pay that much for headphones with a mic is my advice.

I don't use the mic, and for wireless headphones they put it on there whether you want it or not. My budget was $150 and these got the best reviews I could find, especially as I'm more interested in the high end than bass.

UPDATE
So this is weird, the headphones shipped on their own (still in transit) while the rest of the order is still waiting.

I think it's more of a threat. "You said I could buy it for $212! What gives?" "I've altered the price. Pray I don't alter it any further."

Yeah, that’s late 70s pricing. “Buy now, before the price goes up!”

Things like the Toy R Us bankruptcy make me hate capitalism. Creative destruction didn't kill Toys 'R Us, LBOs by PE firms that still walk away with a profit did.

Amazon brand diapers on Prime Pantry are surprisingly expensive. Nearly double the price of name brand diapers with free Prime shipping.

PE firms now do like Corporate Raiders were supposedly doing in the 80s, when they just futzed with the debt to equity ratio.

Oh, yes, this is unrelated. Trying to find a nightlight. Not really wanting to buy something that says "kids bedroom" AND "dating mood"

Long term investment. Buy for the date-night party mood, use for the resulting kids.

Or it's something the kids can use when they're five and when they're twenty-five.

There's a good used bookstore in Phoenix, and I was looking at their website to find their hours when I saw their Twitter feed. It's full of retweeted comments about how American schools are killing fields and guns must be banned. Dammit.

So what? I'd encourage you to go visit and browse, and maybe mention that you are there despite disagreement about the political stuff they tweet about. I wouldn't even specify the topic.

Or not mention it. I think there's more to be said in favor of nazi dry-cleaners.

I find, with Amazon Prime, that I'm really demotivated to spend extra to watch a movie that doesn't come free with it.

I'm much of the same mind. I think part of it has to do with how they often intermingle Prime stuff and additional pay stuff so it just feels like their waving it in your face.

I used to think this too, but if it was a movie I'd really hoped to see in a theater, and the willingness at the time to drop $30 - $40 for two tickets and snacks, paying Prime $5.99 for 48 hour access doesn't seem too bad.

More so when it's a movie that's a couple of years old. I was going to catch up on Marvel movies last Saturday, and I ehned on Ant-Man because I didn't want to pay a few extra bucks on Amazon.
