His first media appearances after his firing were alt-right Youtubers, one of whom was at Charlottesville.

ALso, on his new FIred4truth twitter feed, his very first tweet was to his fundraiser on Wesearchr (the alt-right's fundraising website), and his first 10 tweets included retweets by Mike Cernovich and Katie "Fired for being too racist for fuckin' Breitbart" McHugh.

Part of the demand for certain types of labor is doing things when they need them be done. I'd resist anything that looked like "let's all close shop so it isn't unfair" because that's just st a middle finger to time sensitive customers.
I'm not sure who this was in response to.

Police Stood By As Mayhem Mounted in Charlottesville
The police did little to stop the bloodshed. Several times, a group of assault-rifle-toting militia members from New York State, wearing body armor and desert camo, played a more active role in breaking up fights.

He's worrying about the idea that we should give equal pay to people who are willing/available to work nights and weekends and to the people who aren't.

Also about this thing you hear sometimes like almost no job should require anyone to work weekends as a matter of fairness.

Let's pretend that they don't include actual emergency service people in that. What about the janitors who mop the blood off the floor in emergency wards at 4 AM Sunday? (I have done exactly that.)

Synchronicity! I've bled on the floor of an emergency room at 4 am on a Sunday!

Put these people in Germany for a month, with the "supermarkets only open until 6:30 PM except on Thursdays, when they're open until 8 PM*," and people will change their tunes nice and quick.

* I believe these rules have been loosened since I was there in '06

This thread is publicly visible, so I actually agree that no job should require people to be available outside of prescribed hours, and taking on greater time commitments should not be weighed positively in advancement and promotion.

I join all of America in denouncing the violence at the careerists rally this weekend, and mourn the people injured and killed by the crazy hateful dude who wants the weekends off.

Some of the upstanding young patriots photographed at the tiki-torch rally have been identified and fired by their various employers. What is this world coming to, when a person can suffer professional consequences simply for publicly expressing an unpopular opinion?

There is no violence greater than the violence inherent in the system that requires people to go to work to pay their bills.

Were you bleeding from having your legs severed at the knees by a train because you were drunk and passed out on a railroad track? [There was a LOT of blood.]

Except for having to actually pay bills.
